Monaghan Institute’s one-year Pharmacy Counter Assistant course will provide you with the knowledge and skills you need. As well as a QQI qualification including modules in Medical Terminology, Retail Selling, Nutrition and Customer Service, learners complete the Irish Pharmacy Union’s Medicines Counter Assistant award also.

Many of our graduates have gained employment in local Pharmacies including, Black’s Allcare Pharmacy, Dolan’s Pharmacy, Eakins Pharmacy and Boots. While others have continued their education by completing a Pharmacy Technician course either within the pharmacy setting or in Technological University.
