Monaghan Institute Students hike ‘The Stairway to Heaven’ at the Cuilcagh Legnabrocky Trail

As the 2022-2023 academic year came to a close, learners of the enthusiastic Advanced Applied Social Studies group, conquered Cuilcagh’s legendary Legnabrocky Trail together. This hike marked the perfect celebration of the group’s achievements and the end of their further education journey.

The group challenged themselves and supported one another every step of the way. The breath-taking views, the sense of accomplishment, and the shared moments of camaraderie made this hike a great experience.

Many of this group are planning to advance to higher education right here in Monaghan this September. They will be completing the Level 7 BSc. in Health and Social Studies degree programme by Atlantic Technological University (ATU) which is hosted in Monaghan Institute.
