MI’s Students’ Union has put together a very comprehensive & worthy programme for this Christmas Season – thank you to everyone involved.

St Vincent De Paul Christmas Appeal

Please donate “Non-perishable” festive items. A shopping trolley will be placed in the Canteen. This is an opportunity to provide for those less fortunate than us this Christmas. Some ideas for donations include:

Monaghan Rotary Christmas Tree of Remembrance

Remember a loved one this Christmas. Tree ornaments are €2 and all money raised will go to local charities. An inter-denominational service will be said after Christmas. Ornaments can be purchased in our canteen over the coming days.

Wednesday 19th December – MI Celebrate Christmas in aid of FOCUS IRELAND

Christmas Jumpers

Wear your Christmas Jumpers to college. Prize for Best Jumper! 

Please donate “what you can” in the FOCUS IRELAND COLLECTION BOX which will be in the canteen and circulated, on the day.

Christmas Dinner

Come to our annual Christmas Dinner at 1pm in the canteen.

Dinner Vouchers cost €10

Menu

– Turkey and Ham/Salmon/Vegetarian option

– Tea/Coffee

Note: There is an additional €2.50 charge, if you would like desert.

Christmas Dinner Vouchers will be on sale from today until Friday 14th December in the canteen. Note: Friday 14th is the final day to book your dinner.

Christmas Raffle Draw

At 1.45pm, we will hold a draw for a Christmas Hamper and other prizes, in the Canteen. Lines costing €1 will be on sale over the next week in the canteen. All proceeds to FOCUS IRELAND.

This is a very festive and special annual event in MI. We encourage all class groups to come along and join in the fun!
