In accepting the award, Rona acknowledged that “completing the degree with a first-class award and the President’s award meant a great deal to me. It is an affirmation that whatever it is that we want in life, if we put in the effort, time, dedication, and most importantly if we truly give it a try, things will turn out fine. I hope that this achievement will inspire other students especially mature students who might be struggling to juggle between family, education, and work this is doable”.
