Monaghan Institute’s Erasmus + Staff Mobility Programme 

Staff from Monaghan Institute are preparing to participate in an Erasmus funded, structured, and interactive course focused on the integration of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) and digital technologies in the classroom. This training programme, hosted by ROC Friese Poort, College of Further Education, part of the Firda group of colleges in Northern Netherlands, is specifically designed for teachers. Running from February 9th to February 13th, 2025, the course will provide comprehensive training on effectively utilising ICT tools to enhance teaching and learning experiences.

Located in the city of Groningen, staff from Monaghan Institute’s Departments of Arts, Business, Computing, Science Social Studies, Sport and Career Guidance will have the opportunity to experience diverse teaching styles and educational systems. This initiative will enable them to acquire new technical skills and foster positive working relationships between individuals and organisations, further strengthening the collaboration between both institutions
