Monaghan Institute Hairdressing Students Experience the World of Photoshoots and Magazine Work

Recently, MI second year hairdressing students showcased their Fantasy Styling as part of their City and Guilds, Level 2, 212 module. Here the students chose a theme, developed a hairstyle and organised a photoshoot aided by the Advanced Level 6 Digital Media & Web Design students. They were assisted on the day by Level 5 Hairdressing Students and L5 Beauty Students to reach a very exciting outcome. As a result of this the students had an in-depth look at the world of hairstyling associated with photoshoots and magazine work.

The QQI Level 5 Hairdressing course at MI is designed for learners who are interested in acquiring a recognised qualification in hairdressing and to prepare them for employment. We also offer a second year training programme as a progression opportunity, where learners complete a City & Guilds Diploma in Hairdressing, along with Senior Trades.
