Monaghan Institute Form a Progressive Partnership with Wrexham University in North Wales
Cavan and Monaghan Education and Training Board’s Further Education Colleges, Monaghan Institute and Cavan Institute, have both recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Wrexham University in North Wales. At the core of this partnership, is that both Institutes will create progression links and access routes for their graduates to sought after degree programmes that are not always accessible in Ireland.

Benefits
There are huge benefits to Irish learners attending Wrexham University including free course fees on Healthcare Degrees, subsidised accommodation costs, living cost bursaries, followed by two years’ work placement after graduating from the course. The MoU is a result of each Institute’s commitment to increasing pathways for Further Education graduates onto very sought-after Degree programmes, such as Nursing, Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy.

Wrexham University
Located in Wrexham, the largest town in north Wales, Wrexham University is an accredited institution of the University of Wales and offers both undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, as well as professional courses. Annually, they have approximately 6,500 students enrolled and have excellent road and rail links which connect Wrexham with Manchester and Liverpool, making it very accessible for Irish students.
