Monaghan Institute – Congratulations to our Class of 2024!

On Friday 22 November, the 2024 Monaghan Institute Graduation Ceremony took place in the Garage Theatre.

It was an intimate marking of the graduates’ achievements and their step into the next chapter of life. Their hard work, dedication and resilience were celebrated, and the staff of the Institute couldn’t have been prouder of their learner’s accomplishments.

Martina Rooney, Director and Rynagh Williams, Deputy Director of Monaghan Institute presided over the event and were delighted to welcome the graduates along with their families and friends; and many distinguished guests to celebrate together. Dr Fiona McGrath, Chief Executive of CMETB, Cllr David Maxwell, Chairperson of the CMETB and Monaghan Institute’s Boards and Dr Lynda Pinkster, Director of Further Education and Training CMETB, participated in marking this significant milestone for the graduates. Special guest speakers at the occasion were Adrian Kelly, Director of Ask More along with Niamh Gallagher and Grainne McGuinness both of whom are past graduates of Monaghan Institute. All speakers had excellent life stories to share with the graduates, and important lessons and advice for them as they embark on the next stage of their career journeys.
