Monaghan Institute Celebrate the Achievements of their 2020-2021 Graduates Virtually

On Friday 12th November, the Board of Management and Staff at Monaghan Institute participated in the conferring of awards to the graduates of the 2020-2021 academic year in Virtual Graduation sessions. The short and intimate video ceremony was shared with  graduates so that they, with their families, could participate in a remote and safe celebration.

The Lord Mayor of Dublin, Cllr Alison Gilliland and Paralympic Champion, Eve McCrystal were Guest Speakers
at Monaghan Institute’s Virtual Graduation.

While this was not our preferred method of conferring of awards, it was deemed the safe and cautious approach in the continuing pandemic climate. We hope that future Graduation Ceremonies will return to a live event in the Garage Theatre.

We wish all our Graduates every success in their future endeavours whether in employment or in further education. We also acknowledge their hard work, commitment and resilience to succeed, despite the remote online nature of teaching and learning last year.
