MI’s Men’s GAA Team are Top of the League
On Thursday 25th Oct Monaghan Institute’s Men’s GAA team completed the group stages of the Electric Ireland Higher Education Division 4 league, with a comprehensive 3-19 to 8 pts win away to Carlow College of Further Education in Tinryland. In a tight first half, the team led 2-9 to 0-7 points. The men took control of the second half with an impressive footballing display, scoring an additional 1-10 with only 1 point in reply. The team can now look forward with confidence to the All Ireland Quarter Final on November 14, venue and opposition to be confirmed.
