Learners Dive into Virtual Reality at Monaghan Institute

Learners from Monaghan Institute had an exciting morning exploring a variety of games and experiences using Virtual Reality (VR) headsets. This immersive technology brought a new level of engagement to the classroom, allowing students to interact with digital environments in ways they had never imagined.

The event was organised by Alan Ryan, Local Creative Youth Co-ordinator, Youth Services, whose efforts ensured a seamless and enjoyable experience for all participants. John Rushe, who facilitated the session, guided the learners through the various VR activities, making sure everyone had a chance to engage with the technology.

Students expressed their enthusiasm and appreciation for the opportunity to try out VR headsets, noting how it made learning more dynamic and fun. The session not only provided entertainment but also highlighted the potential of VR technology in educational settings.
