A Day to Remember for Monaghan Institute Creative Media Students

Monaghan Institute’s Creative Media students rounded off the year with an unforgettable experience touring a TOP SECRET film set in Monaghan with Deadpan Pictures for their upcoming comedy-drama series ‘Video Nasty’. From meeting industry pros to seeing the magic of filmmaking up close, it was a great adventure.

Our future filmmakers got a behind-the-scenes look at the work it takes to bring script to screen, with a tour of unit operations, meeting production crew and getting to glimpse a stunt action scene in progress.

Thank you to everyone who made this excellent opportunity possible, in particular, Shane Whisker, Neil Guerin and Ailish McMeel for facilitating the tour. We would also like to thank Cllr. Sean Conlon, Monaghan Institute Board of Management member, for his assistance in organising the trip.
