24th November 2016 Careers Event Hillgrove Monaghan
The 2016 Careers Event hosted by the CMETB Career Guidance staff took place in The Hillgrove Hotel Monaghan this year. The event was attended by approximately 2,000 5th year students from both Cavan and Monaghan secondary schools, who had the opportunity to research their future study options.
At the event students had the opportunity to attend talks on CAO, UCAS, DARE and HEAR College Access Schemes, Apprenticeships, Traineeships and Further Education and Training options.
A big thank you to the Business and Office Administration staff who helped organise the event. Also thank you to the Hair Dressing Year 2 students and Shane Kelly from Level 6 Sport who helped our staff administer and organise the MI college stand.
