What will you study?
In this course you will study a broad range of up-to-date Construction modules, through both practical and theoretical methods. You will study all aspects of Building Construction, along with Renewable Technologies. You will gain experience and expertise in using AutoCAD, and you will study the value and importance of energy reduction within buildings through the Thermal Insulation module. Parts of this course will take place in the workshop where you will gain experience of cutting and fitting insulation, along with the construction of walls, roofs and floors.

Good News Regarding Your Course Fees 2023-2024
In August 2022 Monaghan Institute and CMETB announced plans to significantly reduce fees on full time courses. This means that your course fees have been reduced to a maximum of €200. If you have a Medical Card/Social Welfare Payment, the fee will be €150. This fee includes all course materials, exam fees, toolkits, and uniforms.
